Beauty Haul 2013

The video above is Part 1 of the two corresponding videos that quickly go over the items I bought.
The video below is Part 2.

So I went to my mams's for the holidays and we went shopping to buy stuff that we do not need! :D
I ended up getting some things that I have wanted for some time now but never got.
Everything is very inexpensive - the makeup - and I'm so happy with the quality of the things that I got!

The first stop was Walmart
Second stop was Walgreens
Third stop was HEB
Fourth stop was Big Lots:

I bought 2 of these Jordana 12 HR Made to Last Eyeshadow Pencils. The shades are 04 Continuous Almond and 01 Eternal White. The price was $3.99. Once it sets, it lasts! On the packaging itself it indicates if the shadow pencil is matte or shimmer. I LOVE THAT because you aren't guessing what type of finish it is! They are sharpenable. There are several shades.... very pretty. These shadow sticks are very smooth, creamy and VERY PIGMENTED!!
I bought 2 of these Jordana Easyliner For Lips Retractable Pencil. the shades are Silver Lilac and Tawny. Silver Lilac is the purply shade shown. I LOVE IT!! I love these lip liners because they are very pigmented and they stay for a very long period of time. The price is $1.99!! Example: I filled lined and filled in my lips with Silver Lilac and applied a lip gloss over. About an hour later the gloss faded and the lip liner was still holding strong. It was a very pretty lip color! It looked like a stain on my lips. Then a few hours later the lip liner finally faded on the "filling" of my lips but I was still left with the lip line!! I couldn't believe that several hours later I still had the lip line.....Lean like a Chola!!

The photo to the left and below show the Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shades 250 Nude Pink, 25 Bad to the Bronze and a frosty blue shade...I'm sorry Big Lots had a security sticker on the top of it and when I tore it off it pulled the top label off as well. Once I get the color I will insert it here. I got the turquoise color at Big Lots for $1.00!!! I couldn't believe it!! Although this color isn't very pigmented it still is pretty and I couldn't pass it up. The other 2 I got from CVS when they had a BOGO 50% off. The Nude Pink is limited
edition and it was the last one so I had to take it. :D It was not an option to leave it behind.
My favorite out of the bunch is the Nude Pink. It is
just like the Mac cream eyeshadow base in Painterly that I have but the Maybelline CT is so much more cheaper and it reeeallly makes the eyeshadow stay on allll day! IT'S AWESOME!!

These two Rimmel London Vinyl Jelly Gloss Lip Liners I got from Big Lots and I am very impressed with how smooth they are! They are my favorite now! The price was $2.00 for both liners. The shades that I got were 004 Sorbet and 001 Moreish. The Sorbet is the coral colored one. It is so beautiful!! They are just what the packaging says...Glossy! Typically you need some type of moisture on your lips when you use a lip liner because they are so dry but this liner is VERY moisturizing! You can wear them alone. Very silky feeling on the lips.
The pictures below and to the left display the Revlon Colorstay Smoky Shadow Sticks are awesome! I bought three for $2.80 at Big Lots! I could not pass these up either! The price was just too good! The color shades from top to bottom: 201 Torch, 205 Atomic and 210 Flare.
Once they set, they almost do not smudge! :D The packaging states "All day crease proof, fade proof color". We'll see how they perform.
This Jordana 12 HR Made to Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in the color 02 Espresso Last. It is awesome!! Once it sets it doesn't smudge unless you rub the hell out of it!! ...... don't rub your eye like that though! Lol! I believe the price was $2.49 but no more than that. VERY PIGMENTED!!! Beautiful pencil!!
The photo to the left shows the tem that I got from Walmart. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Triple Action Toner. It treats acne, eliminates oil and shine, and refreshes and soothes skin. I've been using it for a few days now and it feels really good on the skin! Next is the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub. I haven't used this yet but I'm sure it will be great. Third is the Olay Total Effects Blemish Control Salicylic Acid Acne Cleanser. This doesn't foam up or anything... it doesn't really feel like it's doing anything to my skin. I do know that it is removing my make up but I'm so used to some type of foam or suds and I don't get anything from this product. :D I've been using this as well for the past few nights and so far it's performing well. Last is the Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel. I'm using this as a primer for my face. My makeup does not move at all during the day. I've heard that it has the same active ingredients as the Makeup Forever HD Primer... I think... I know it's a high end product - my sister told me about it and you can check it out on youtube... a lot of people rave about it. I got into a bit more detail in my actual youtube video that is available now to view.
This photo to the right has some products that my mama gave me. I'm so excited for this stash of stuff because it's all things I've been wanting to try but just haven't gotten a chance to.
Photo to the Left: I went to HEB to get these things. ELF Makeup Mist and Set. I've heard a lot of good things about this setting spray so I'm excited to try it. It was only $3.00. Next is the Makeup Lock and Seal. The same thing with this product, I've heard good things about this product. It is like Mac's Fix+
where it "wets" your eyeshadow so it applies more pigmented and allows it to set and stay on your eyes. Last is the NYC Sky Rise Mascara. Haven't tried it yet but heard good things. Will let you know soon my thoughts about the product. :D
Photo to the right: Milani Baked Eyeshadow in 616 Must Have Fuchsia. I got it on sale for $3.79 at Walgreens. I do not use it as an eyeshadow. I actually use it as a blush and it is phenomenal!! LOVE IT!!!
Photo to the Left: Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in 170 Coral Reef. I got this at Big Lots for only $2.00!!! Awesome Deal!!!! It is super pigmented and feels so smooth on the lips. Not sticky at all. It looks beautiful on top of the Rimmel Liner from above in Sorbet.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I really appreciate it. Please check out my video on Youtube to see me chit chat a little more about the items that are seen here.

Remington T|Studio Curling Wand

I purchased from Target this curling wand and I ABSOLUTELY in LOVE!!
My curls last for a very long time and it's super easy to use!

The photo above is my hair curled just at the ends. I LOVE IT!!

I do have to mention that my hair felt dry after a few times of use but that's just standard because the heat is so concentrated on the ends of your hair that it dries out the hair and can make it very fragile. I haven't used this much heat on my hair in quite some time. I usually only apply heat to my hair about once a week and with this wand I've been wanting to use it so much that I've quadrupled my usage!

The photo above is the curling wand itself with the box.....obviously! :D

Below is the video from my youtube channel that goes a little into detail of the curling wand.

Everything about the curling wand is in the video but the basics are this:
 *It's from Remington
*It is a 1/2 inch to a 1 inch curling wand
*Highest heat setting is 410 degrees
*It's has a 30 second heat up time but it is really much faster than that!
*There is a 60 second auto shut off
 *Glove included
*4 year limited warranty (which i didn't mention in the video, my apologies)

CVS Couponing Haul 8/11/13

***Please excuse this blog post. It may be a little all over the place. I am getting internet installed at my new apartment on Tuesday so for now I have to update my blog from my phone so excuse if it looks a little wonky. LOL

I'm not too proud of this couponong haul. I spent a total of $16 but I got back $10 in ECBs. I would have likes to pay as little as possible but messed up along the way because my calculations were inaccurate..... boo!!!

Anyways this is what I purchased.
As of right now I am not going to put the deals in this post but as soon as the internet is up and running I will.

Thank you for your patience and I hope to see you back to check the deals out.

July 2013 Favorites

I don't really have a lot of items this month that I've been loving enough to make a complete video on, so I'll post my favorites on here. Actually, I don't even know if I should consider this a "favorites" video because only the first category is actually a favorite. The remaining categories are just things that I've been using a lot for the past month. Well I guess make of it what you will. :D On with the blog post!

(**If you are reading this and there are not any pictures up of the items, not to fear they will be up soon. :) thank you!)

BODY

The first group of items are from Bath & Body Works.
I have an overload of body sprays, lotions and anti-bacterial gel from B&BW so i use everything quite often but these items i have been using excessively during the month of July.

**Blackberry Woods Body Mist - which i didn't find in the store. I don't think they sell it anymore. I'm heart broken.
**Sensual Amber Body Mist and Body Lotion - Ohhhhhh it smelllllls sooooo goooooood!!!! I can bathe in that scent!! LOVE IT!!
**All of the anti-bacterial gel that they have! I bought quite a few so I have been using them not only to kill the bacteria on my hands, but just to add the scent to my hands. The scent surprisingly stays on for quite some time. I LOVE them!!

CLOTHING/ACCESSORIES

For clothing I've been wearing some V-Neck t-shirts that my mama bought me for my birthday from Wet Seal, Wal-Mart & Target. They are super soft and very nice! It seems as though those are the only articles of clothing that i have! :D

For accessories, all I have been wearing are some pearl stud earrings (fake of course) that i purchased from a discount store many moons ago. They just go with everything and with my hair pulled back for work all the time, they display nicely.

MAKEUP

I surprisingly do not have any favorites but one this month. The only thing that's was a constant for July was the blush from Wet'N'Wild in Pearlescent Pink. That is nicely substituting my blush from ELF - the  blush and bronzer duo - I have hit pan on the blush and I can't pick up any more product on my brush so I have to crush down the blush and even it out on the pan - in the meantime, i use W'N'W's blush. :D I've always loved it, it is just an againly discovered blush. :D .....you like that word? Againly?? LOL

TELEVISION

If you love television then you have to have seen the commercials for Devious Maids! OH HOW I LOVE THAT SHOW!! It is soooo good!! I didn't think I'd like it much but I hook everyone on the show! :D It's good!

COUPONING!

This has kind of been a constant in my life but I'm really getting into it and I'm starting to get the hang of it. My co-workers would make fun of me at first and say that I was the "Ol' Coupon Lady" but as I started telling them about the better and better deals I was getting, one of the girls ended up asking me a lot of questions about it and has begun clipping coupons for her household. HA!! That's so great! Now we chit chat about couponing! :D

.......that's it for July, didn't have much favorites. I've been picking up a lot of crafting again and I've been really spending time with to my blog and my youtube channel. I've been neglecting these things. :(

I hoped you enjoyed my little favorites for the month of July.....even though it's a pathetic list of things! LOL

Happy Days,

CVS Shopping Trip For Week of 7/28/13

This has been the biggest couponing haul that I have completed! I am so excited because i saved the MOST money so far!!!

I paid only $0.09 for everything that you see here!! Yes, NINE CENTS!! PLUS, i got back $7 in extra care bucks from CVS.  It feels so great to be able to purchase all of this for just nine pennies. I wish my mama would have known about this when i was growing up, it sure would have saved her thousands of dollars with three kiddos in the house.

Enough of the babbling, let's get on with HOW i did this. :D
-Surrrrrre, I'd be HAPPY to share with you! :D

Transaction #1: First CVS:

To start off i'm sure the first thing that you see is the Dawn dish soap. They were each on sale for $0.99 so I got 6 of them. I bought 3 newspapers from Sunday (7/28/13), that's how i was able to get so many. There is no frequency limit on how many you can buy so i took advantage.

In this transaction i got:
       - 3 of the Dawn Hand Renewal so i used (3) $0.25 off of one dawn product and (1) $0.50 off Dawn Hand Renewal dish soap.
       - 1 Pantene Shampoo and 1 Pantene Conditioner. The deal was if you buy  on sale for 2 for $7. I had a coupon of buy one get one free. This coupon deducts the maximum value of $4.99.
       - 4 Men's Speed Stick. They were on sale for $1.99 each. I used 2 manufacture coupons from the sunday's newspaper, which were $0.50 off one, and 2 printable coupons from cvs.com. One was $2 off of any 2 deodorants purchase. Since i purchased 4, i was able to use 2 of them. The second coupon from cvs.com was $1 off any $5 deodorant purchase.
-1 Stayfree pack of pads. The deal was if you bought 1 at $2.99 then you received $1 in extra care bucks back. So i used a $1off manufacture coupon that i got from the Sunday's newspaper.
       - 1 Starbucks iced coffee 11oz for $1.50. The deal was if you bought one at $1.50 then you got back $1.50 in extra care bucks. I had a $1 off manufacture coupon that i got from coupons.com (there is a link to the coupon on the blog that i got it from - which is an awesome blog by the way- www.2littledollzdeals.com).

This brought my total to just under $11.00. This would be the out of pocket paid by me if i didn't use any extra care bucks from previous visits to CVS. I used an $8 ECB and a $3ECB.
I had to pay $0.05 in taxes.... :D I don't know how that happened but i thought it was great!

So with this transaction I ended up getting back $3.50 in extra care bucks to use on another transaction.

Transaction #2: Second CVS

-I took advantage of the deal in the add of spend $10 of Colgate select products, get $5 in ECBs.  Sooooooo, I got (1) 16.9 fl oz mouthwash and (2) 7.6oz toothpaste. I used (1) $1.00 off manufacture coupon off of the mouthwash from the sunday's newspaper. (2) $0.75 off one toothpaste - there was one for $1.00 off in the newspaper but i didn't have it with me so i used what i had - these coupons were from inside the actual store. As i was strolling through the isles i came across a little coupon dispenser that had these, so i took 3. I used these 3 coupons in conjunction with the coupons printed from CVS.com. The first coupon was $3 off any mouthwash, toothpaste, toothbrush or floss of $15 or more. The second coupon was $2 off any two oral care purchase.
-I got 2 more of the Dawn Hand Renewal  with two more of the $.50 coupons from the sunday's newspaper.
        - 1 Venus razor - not the disposable ones. I used a manufacture coupon from the sunday's newspaper that was $5 off any Venus razor (excluding the disposable razors). This deal was if you bought one then you got back $2 in ECBs.

This brought my total to roughly around $13 something. Of course, this would be my out of pocket expense if i didn't have any ECBs from previous visits. I used a $5 ECB, a $3 ECB that I printed from my email because CVS sent it to me, and the $3.50 of ECBs from transaction #1.

My out of pocket expense for this transaction as a total came out to $0.04!! PLUS i got back $7 in ECBs to use on my next purchase!

Phew! that was a lot of information! :D It is a lot of money to pay out of pocket if you do not have any ECBs to start out with but if you make small transactions and roll the money over in ECBs like i have then your our of pocket will not be so high. I did start out just the same. It took me a while to get the hang of couponing and I'm still learning everyday.

Try to start out by just getting what you know you are going to use, what you need and what you have coupons for. If you do not mind paying a little bit out of pocket, then go crazy! :) Once you start building the ECBs then you'll start getting the hang of rolling them over and getting the best "bang for you buck".

Happy couponing!

Beaded Cross Bracelet

I remade this bracelet with some wire so it is more sturdier than with elastic.

I don't really like the elastic cord anymore, it just doesn't feel secure.

I thought this was super cute. I just wanted to share this. :D

I have been wearing it for the past day or so and i love the way it sounds! Lol

I was extremely easy to create and i hope i can give you an idea/inspiration to make something new.

CVS Couponing from week 7/21/2013

Hello,

I'm going to try something a little different. I will posting on here little couponing hauls that i do that aren't really big enough to make a video for.

This blog post is the exact thing I am talking about. I only got three things but it was such a good deal that I can not go by without telling you! I want everyone to save this kind of money because who doesn't need more money in their pockets now-a-days.

I will be breaking down things for those of us that are still learning the coupling process. I am not an extreme couponer or anything. We can learn together. :)

In this shopping trip i went to CVS. This is one of my favorite places to shop because not only can you get items for extremely inexpensive but they give you money back!!

I only did one transaction here....obviously, i only had 3 things! Lol

Here's what i bought:
     (1)    Head & Shoulders 14.2 fl oz shampoo   =   $4.99 on sale - regular price is $5.99
The deal for the H&S was just that they were on sale for $4.99

     (2)    Colgate Total Advanced 7.6 oz whitening toothpaste   =   $4.99 not on sale
The deal for the Colgate was if you spent $10 you got $5 back in extra care bucks. I spent $9.98 which still triggers the sale. YAY! :D

My total without tax at this point is $14.97

Here are the coupons that I used:
     (1)   Manufacturer coupon of $.75 off 1 Colgate toothpaste of 4 oz or larger
-I could have used two but i reached my limit on Coupons.com because the dummy using the printer tried to recycle paper and it printed on the wrong side! (dummy aka...ME!)
     (1)   Manufacturer coupon of $2 off 1 Head & Shoulders shampoo or conditioner.
     (1)   Red box coupon of $1.50 off of any oral care of $5.
     (1)   Red box coupon of $3 off of any toothpaste of $5 or more.
     (1)   Red box coupon of 30% off your entire purchase.
-I used an expired $5 ECB that i had from previous weeks coupons.

I paid $.94!! PLUS I received $5 back from the Colgate deal! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!??!?!

Stay tuned for more CVS hauls that I'll have! There should be no end to getting things for free by couponing! I hope you give this a try and study your adds and coupons to get your savings as well!!

Thank you for stopping by!
